Juremont Releases Inaugural Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report, Establishing Baseline for Long‑Term Sustainability Strategy

Juremont has today released its first comprehensive Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Report, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to transparency, responsible business practices, & long‑term environmental stewardship across the Australasian industrial food ingredient importation & distribution supply chain.

Covering operations 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025 the report provides a full emissions inventory. Prepared in accordance with internationally recognised GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, the assessment establishes a credible baseline from which Juremont will track performance, set future reduction targets & guide its decarbonisation strategy.

“As an importer & distributor of agricultural food ingredients, much of our environmental impact sits within our supply chain – not our operations.  Publishing this report is our way of being upfront about that reality & taking responsibility for what emissions improvement we can make next,” said Managing Director Andrew Rolle.

“This report is the beginning of our journey to measure & transparently disclose our emissions across our value chain. It reflects our commitment to building a more resilient, lower‑carbon future with our suppliers to support our customers zero emissions targets”.

The report identifies total FY25 emissions of 124,182 tonnes of CO₂‑equivalent, with Scope 3 emissions accounting for 99.98% of the company’s footprint. This is consistent with the emissions profile of agricultural supply chains & highlights the importance of supplier engagement, logistics optimisation, & value‑chain collaboration in achieving meaningful reductions.

Because its direct operational footprint is minimal, Juremont’s decarbonisation strategy centres on working with upstream suppliers & downstream partners. The report outlines three priorities: improving quality & granularity of emissions data, embedding carbon reduction commitments into supplier & logistics partnerships, & integrating emissions performance into procurement decisions.

“We recognise that healthy ecosystems, resilient supply chains, & long‑term commercial success are deeply interconnected,” Rolle said. “This baseline gives the clarity our team needs to work with our supply partners & customers to reduce emissions in ways that are practical, credible, & commercially sound.”

Juremont will publish its GHG Emissions Report annually.
